Welcome to Mio AuSable Middle & High School
Mio AuSable Middle School serves students in grades 6 through 8, while Mio AuSable High School accommodates grades 9 through 12, with an average class size of 28 students. At the high school level, we offer Advanced Placement courses in Calculus and Chemistry, in addition to dual enrollment opportunities and a robust career and technical education program.

Mio AuSable Middle School serves students in grades 6 through 8, offering a well-rounded academic experience. A typical school day consists of seven periods, including four core subjects, along with an elective, exploratory, and academic support class. Students have the opportunity to choose from a variety of electives, such as choir and drama. Additionally, At-Risk services, including tutoring and co-teaching, are available to support students who need extra assistance.
Mio AuSable High School serves grades 9-12, with an average class size of 28 students. We offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses in calculus and chemistry, as well as dual enrollment opportunities and a robust career and technical education program. In recognition of our academic excellence, Mio AuSable High School was ranked the fourth highest conventional public high school in Michigan by the Mackinac Center’s Context and Performance Report (2012). Additionally, we have earned the Bronze Star award from U.S. News & World Report and have been named an Academic State Champion by Bridge Magazine.
